What a great legacy uncle Augie has left.I know his family is extremely proud of his long and meaningful life.He was a success at work, at home, and in his community.
My best times as a child were the ones that included visiting Uncle Augie and Aunt Nella. We stayed up late and played every sport imaganeable at the old house on Stockwell. My dad (Nick)and his younger brother Augie or as he called him "seno" would always join in the competition and make sure we played the correct way.
I always enjoyed listening to them and any of the other Older Italian in attendance.Sometimes talking in half broken English and even worse Italian. The only words I could decipher were the ones involving food and maybe a not to mention Slang word..Later years Uncle Augie would drive from the East side to Farmington every Monday night to bowl with Me, Gary, and Chuck Priestap boy I wish those days could have lasted forever!!
He never had a nasty word for anyone and no one ever had one for him.Thank you Aunt Nella and Uncle Augie for treating Me and Connie as part of your close family. We will miss you dearly but I have so many lasting memories..

Mike and Diane,

So sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I remember sharing with you the times of care giving for our parents. I know it is hard to lose a dad even though he had a full life and was with you for so long. Your dad raised a great son so even though I didn't know him I know he was a great man.

Our best to you and your family in this time.
