William Henry Craft Jr

William (Bill) Craft, age 93, of St. Clair Shores, passed away on Monday, November 29th, 2021 at St. John Moross Hospital in Detroit.
A viewing will be held from 2:00 until 9:00 pm with Rosary at 7 pm on Thursday, December 9th at Bagnasco and Calcaterra 25800 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores. MI. A private burial will take place on Friday, December 10th for immediate family only. His burial will be a military sendoff as he proudly served in the Navy for 6 years serving in the Korean War.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, Sandy(Bill), Karen and Kim. Loving grandfather of Jen(Mike), Nick(Megan), Michelle(Taylor), Michael and Paige. Loving great-grandfather to Landon, Annabelle, Payton, Ethan, Avery and Piper.
Bill was born on May 27th, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. He married the love of his life, Marjorie, on June 11th, 1955 who preceded him in death this past March. Bill loved to take his wife out on the town and the two could often be found on the dance floor together. Bill was always the life of the party and had an infectious smile that no one could resist. When not on the dance floor together Bill and Marge would spend much of their time at their second home in Siesta Key. Walks on the beach with his gorgeous bride, sitting in the sun, cannonballs into the pools, dinner out with the family and a fine glass of Scotch made up the perfect day in the life of William Craft.
It’s impossible to tell the life of Bill without talking of Marge. Married for almost 66 years the draw to be reunited in eternal life was too great. Man of great love. A man of great knowledge. Known by many. Called by many names. William. Bill. Dad. Papa. Papa Craft.
