Margaret Adele Chiodini

Margaret Adele Chiodini (maiden name Roach), 92 years old, died November 2, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She lived in St. Clair Shores since 1962.
Born in Detroit, the only child of Marguerite (Youtt) Heinz and Thomas Joseph Roach, who preceded her in death, as did her son Thomas Anthony Pardo, US Army, killed in action in Vietnam.
Surviving Margaret is her loving husband of 58 years, Carl Angelo Chiodini. Children, Beatrice (Rosario) Vargo of Plain City, Oh., Kathleen (Jesse) Pardo-Carlson of Roscommon, MI., Michael Pardo of Dunedin, Fl., and Carla (Stephen) Miller of Livonia, MI.
Also surviving her are 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
During her working years, she was involved in food service and worked as an assistant manager at Perini’s Restaurant. In retirement, she was very active with the St. Clair Shores Civic Association.
Her greatest joys were playing/camping with the grandchildren, teaching her children and grandchildren the value of family and enjoyment of life.
The funeral will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, St. Clair Shores, with burial to follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
