Giovanni E. Marino Jr.

Giovanni Marino Jr, age 84, a resident of St. Clair Shores passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, February 27, 2020. He was a long time owner of Paisanos Pizza and Restaurant in St. Clair Shores. Beloved husband of Carmela, dear father of John (Laura), Angie (Tom) Aretakis and Anthony (Tiffany). Loving grandfather of Jaclyn (Josh), Tommy, Kristina (Joe), Ryan and Nicholas (Kelsey). He was also survived by his great grandchildren Giuliana, Angelina, Emmalina, Evalenn and a soon to be born blessing. Brother of Nina Columbo, Ralph (Linda) Marino and Anna (Phil) Leone. Mr. Marino was also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 1st from 2pm until 9pm with a 7pm Scripture Service at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper, St. Clair Shores. Additional visitation will take place on Monday from 10am until 10:30 am, the time of the Funeral Mass at St. Isaac Jogues Church in St. Clair Shores. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are appreciated to the Marino family.
