Gertrude Rita Kujawski

KUJAWSKI, Gertrude Rita (Nee Kasper) passed away on December 28, 2018 after a brief illness, surrounded by her family. Born in Hamtramck, Michigan on June 29, 1922, she lived her entire life in the Detroit area. A dedicated mother and homemaker, she took pleasure in caring for her home, husband Chester, and children, tending her rose garden, and, eventually, doting on her six grandchildren. In the last several years she learned to love dogs, and turned her caring nature to spoiling her canine friends. She will be missed by the family she loved, her daughters Judy (Daniel) Makowski and Nancy Kujawski, her son Dennis (Barbara) Kujawski, and her grandchildren Sarah, Christopher, Evan, Abby, Brian and Sam. Services will be at a later date. Memorial contributions to the American Heart Association are suggested.
