Edward Joseph Bartelotti Jr

Edward "Skeeter" Joseph Bartelotti Jr. age 66, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 8, 2021. He was born on January 6,1955 in Detroit, Mi.  The loving son of Edward Joseph Sr. and Angeline Bartelotti. Beloved husband to Bonnie of 39 years. Dear father to Daniel Hughes (Priscilla), Kristen Young (Clifford) and Edward Joseph Bartelotti III. Proud papa to Edward Joseph Bartelotti IV, Aubrey Young, Carter Hughes and Addison Young. He is loved and missed by his many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Edward was born and raised in Detroit. He attended Pershing High School and later graduated from Wayne State University. Through mutual friends he met the love of his life, Bonnie, on July 19, 1979. The two were married on May 29,1982 and raised their family in Warren, Mi.

For 15 years, Edward worked for concrete companies, starting as a driver, climbing the ladder and eventually retired a top salesman. Edward loved to make people laugh and his smile lit up any room. He loved going to casinos with his best friend and youngest brother Jamie. Enjoyed watching all his Detroit sports teams and his grandkids playing. He was a loving husband, father, brother, friend and above all grandfather.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 6:30 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081.
