Anna DiBerardino Fazi

Anna DiBerardino Fazi, born January 9, 1926 in Secinaro, Italy, passed away May 11, 2022 in Grosse Pointe, MI, age 96.

Beloved wife of the late Crescenzo. Loving mother of Frank Fazi (Monica) and Elisabeth Bohde (Donn). Dear grandmother of Joseph Fazi (Amanda), Stefanie Norlin (Scott), Mark Fazi (Alyssa), Laura Bohde Hall, Anthony Fazi (Andrea), and Emilee Malendowski (Daniel). Great-grandmother of 12. Predeceased by her parents Felice and Angelamaria DiBerardino.

Anna came to the United States on the USS Marine Carp ship in 1946 when she was 20 years old. Along with her mother she joined her father in Michigan. She loved the Lord, her family, and her friends. Anna was a devout Catholic and a wonderful example to others. Throughout her life she remembered her special connection to her Nonna Rosa. Anna will be deeply missed.


Visitation Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2-8PM at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home 25800 Harper, St. Clair Shores. Funeral Mass Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 22412 Overlake, St. Clair Shores. Visitation at church begins at 9:30am. Anna's Funeral Mass will be livestreamed and can be viewed at www.StJoanChurch.com
