Manfred Wegener

Manfred G. Wegener, age 88, of Sterling Heights, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at Henry Ford Hospital in Clinton Township. Mr. Wegener was born in Berlin, Germany; he married his wife Hannelore Nov. 30, 1957 in Melbourne, Australia. During his working life, Manfred was a tool & die maker for Chrysler Corp. for approx. 30 years.
He is the beloved husband of Hannilore; dear father of Adrian (Sandra) Wegener, Caroline (Wayne) Bradley and Ronald Wegener; loving grandfather of Matthew, Lisa, Ryan, Aaron, Brittney, Shane and Griffin. Brothers Adolf Wegener and Horst Wegener also survive.
A memorial visitation will take place Friday, August 18, 2017 from 2pm until the time of the Memorial Service 6pm at the Sterling Heights Chapel of the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E.Fifteen Mile, Sterling Heights.
