John Harry Diefenbach

John Harry Diefenbach, age 86, of St Clair Shores. Died February 17, 2017 at Rose Assisted Living in Clinton Township. John was born November 30, 1930 in Detroit to John William & Helen Stella (Zynda) Diefenbach. He married Dolores Irene Schulte on August 26, 1950 in East Detroit, she died June 29, 2016. He will be sadly missed by his children; John A. Diefenbach, Joan (Thomas) Dillard, Janet (David) Houston, James (Kim) Diefenbach, Julie (Tom) Washburn, grandchildren; Timothy (Taneeza), Brinn (Nick), Casey, Frank (Danielle), David Aaron, Christine (Tom), Andrew, Spencer, Grant, Jennifer, Danielle, Zachary, Benjamin, Candace, 14 great-grandchildren, his sister Naomi Mills and many nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by his parents, Wife and Siblings Jean & Marie.
John is a retired Police Officer with the St Clair Shores Police Department. He enjoyed his cottage and spending time in Hawaii.
A Funeral Service will be held 10AM Thursday, February 23 at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Ave.,St Clair Shores. Visitation will be Wed from 2-9PM. Burial to follow in St Lawrence Cemetery Shelby Twp. Share a memory with family at www.bcfh.com
